Pokémon Pokopia’s first expansion, Bubbly Basin, released in August 2026.
Bubbly Basin is the first part of a paid three-part expansion pass for the game. The expansion adds new content after the original March 2026 launch, extending Pokopia’s world with another area and additional gameplay features.
The expansion pass is separate from the base game’s release. Pokopia launched worldwide on March 5, 2026, while Bubbly Basin arrived several months later in August. The other two parts of the pass were scheduled for late 2026 and 2027 respectively.
Players may also confuse Bubbly Basin with a free update. The game received later update content as well, including underwater exploration, but Bubbly Basin is specifically identified as the first part of the paid three-part expansion pass.
