In which Italian city is Giorgio Armani's headquarters located?

The story behind the answer

Giorgio Armani's headquarters are located in Milan, Italy.

Milan is more than the company's address: it is the city where Giorgio Armani built his fashion career and founded Giorgio Armani S.p.A. with Sergio Galeotti on 24 July 1975. The company later established its main headquarters in a former Nestlé chocolate factory in Milan's Savona-Tortona district, redesigned by architect Tadao Ando.

The headquarters should not be confused with an Armani boutique, hotel, or museum. Armani operates stores and hospitality properties in many cities, but its corporate base remains in Milan. The company's registered office is on Via Borgonuovo, in the city's historic fashion district.

Milan is also home to Armani/Silos, the brand's fashion museum, which opened in 2015. That separate site preserves and displays Armani's work, while the headquarters handles the fashion house's corporate and creative operations.
