The Minnesota Twins scored their only run in the second inning of the 2026 MLB Field of Dreams Game.
Minnesota fell behind 2–0 in the top of the first inning, then answered with one run in the bottom of the second. That was the Twins’ only scoring inning as the Philadelphia Phillies went on to win 7–1.
The run came during the early part of the game, giving Minnesota a brief chance to close the gap after Philadelphia’s quick start. The Phillies later added three runs in the fourth inning and two in the seventh, while the Twins were held scoreless from the third inning onward.
The inning is especially easy to verify in the line score: Minnesota’s totals across the nine innings were 0, 1, followed by seven consecutive zeroes. The result was not a shutout, but the Twins’ offense produced only one run despite collecting eight hits.
