In which game did The Roost café first appear?
Answer
Animal Crossing: Wild World
Answer
Animal Crossing: Wild World
The Roost café first appeared in Animal Crossing: Wild World.
Wild World introduced The Roost as a café located in the basement of the museum. It is run by Brewster, a quiet pigeon who serves the player a cup of coffee for 200 Bells. At first, Brewster is reserved, but visiting regularly allows the player to build a friendship with him and unlock extra conversations.
The café also became an important music venue. In Wild World, K.K. Slider performs there on Saturday nights, and players can request a song or receive a randomly selected performance. Afterward, K.K. can give the player a recording to play at home.
The Roost returned in City Folk and New Leaf, although its location and features changed between games. New Horizons brought it back in the free Version 2.0 update, again placing it inside the museum. That modern return can cause confusion, but Wild World remains its first appearance.
