In which Danish city is Maersk A/S's headquarters located?

Maersk A/S's headquarters is located in Copenhagen, Denmark.

A.P. Møller–Mærsk, commonly called Maersk, is a Danish business group best known for container shipping, port operations, logistics, and related transport services. Its corporate center is in Copenhagen, Denmark's capital and the country's principal international business hub.

The company traces its origins to 1904, when A.P. Møller founded the shipping company Dampskibsselskabet Svendborg. A second company, Dampskibsselskabet af 1912, followed in 1912. These businesses formed the foundation of the group that later became associated with the distinctive seven-pointed star logo.

Maersk is sometimes identified only with its shipping line, but the wider group has operated across logistics and energy as well. The group separated its energy businesses from the transport and logistics company in 2017. Copenhagen remains the headquarters city, even though Maersk ships, terminals, offices, and employees operate worldwide.
