In which country was Sebastian Vettel born?

In which country was Sebastian Vettel born? Sebastian Vettel was born in Germany.

Vettel was born on 3 July 1987 in Heppenheim, in the state of Hesse, then part of West Germany. He began racing young, progressed through junior single-seater categories, and entered Formula One with BMW Sauber in 2007. His nationality is German, although his birthplace is more precisely identified as Heppenheim.

Vettel’s first Formula One victory came at the 2008 Italian Grand Prix while driving for Toro Rosso. He later won four consecutive drivers’ championships with Red Bull from 2010 through 2013. That achievement is why some quizzes describe him simply as a German champion, while the location question specifically points to his birthplace rather than his racing teams or residence.
