In which California town is Netflix, Inc.'s headquarters located?

Netflix, Inc.'s headquarters is located in Los Gatos, California.

Netflix established its headquarters in Los Gatos as the company developed from a DVD-by-mail service into a global streaming and entertainment business. The town remains associated with the company's corporate offices even though Netflix operates production, engineering, and administrative locations in many countries.

Los Gatos is in Santa Clara County, at the southwestern edge of Silicon Valley. It is often confused with San Jose because of its proximity and shared regional identity, but Los Gatos is a separate incorporated town.

Netflix was founded in 1997 by Reed Hastings and Marc Randolph. Its original business centered on DVD rentals, while streaming launched later and gradually became the company's defining service. Netflix also produces and distributes original films and television series.
