Victoria’s Secret staged its traditional televised fashion show in 2018, but the company did not produce the event in 2019. The cancellation followed declining television ratings and wider criticism of the show’s format and representation.
The 2018 production was held in New York City and included musical performances by artists including Shawn Mendes, Halsey, Rita Ora, The Struts, Bebe Rexha, and Kelsea Ballerini with The Chainsmokers.
Victoria’s Secret later presented a redesigned event in 2023 under the title “The Tour ’23.” A new Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show returned in 2024, which is why 2018 is the correct year for the final show of the earlier continuous format.
