In what year was Shrek Forever After released?
Answer
2010
Answer
2010
Shrek Forever After was released in 2010. It is the fourth and final main installment in DreamWorks Animation’s Shrek film series.
The film follows Shrek as he becomes dissatisfied with his peaceful family life and makes a deal with the trickster Rumpelstiltskin. The bargain creates an alternate reality in which Shrek and Fiona never met, allowing the story to explore how much their relationship changed both of their lives.
Shrek Forever After was marketed as “The Final Chapter,” although later discussions and development have considered additional Shrek-related projects. The film features the returning voices of Mike Myers as Shrek, Eddie Murphy as Donkey, Cameron Diaz as Fiona, and Antonio Banderas as Puss in Boots. It followed Shrek the Third, which was released in 2007, and the Puss in Boots spin-off arrived in 2011.
