Assassin's Creed Brotherhood was released in 2010.
Ubisoft released Brotherhood in November 2010 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, with a Windows release following in 2011. It continues the story of Ezio Auditore da Firenze after Assassin's Creed II and is set largely in Renaissance Rome.
The game expands the series with a recruitable Assassin Brotherhood. Ezio can find and train potential recruits, then call them to assist during missions. Brotherhood also introduced a substantial competitive multiplayer mode to the main series.
Although the game continues Assassin's Creed II's narrative, it is a separate title rather than an expansion pack. Its story focuses on the Borgia family and Cesare Borgia, while its Rome setting differs from the broader collection of Italian cities explored in Assassin's Creed II.
