Steven Bartlett became the youngest-ever dragon on the UK television show Dragons' Den when he joined the panel in 2021.
Bartlett was born in Botswana in 1992 and co-founded the social-media marketing agency Social Chain with Dominic McGregor in 2014. The company grew through work with major brands and later became publicly listed.
He joined Dragons' Den for the programme's nineteenth series, replacing outgoing investor Tej Lalvani. His appointment brought a younger technology and social-media perspective to the panel.
Bartlett is also known for presenting the podcast The Diary of a CEO. He is sometimes described as a technology entrepreneur, but his Dragons' Den role is as an investor rather than a programme presenter.
