Sara Davies founded Crafter's Companion and later became an investor on the UK television series Dragons' Den.
Davies established Crafter's Companion in 2005 while she was a university student. The company began after she developed a tool that made it easier for crafters to produce professional-looking envelopes. It grew into an international craft-supplies business selling products through television shopping, retailers and its own channels.
Davies joined Dragons' Den as a Dragon in 2019. She is often described as the programme's youngest female Dragon at the time she joined, although age-based descriptions can depend on which panel period is being discussed. Crafter's Companion is the company most closely associated with her entrepreneurial career.
A common mix-up is confusing Davies with other female Dragons, including Deborah Meaden, Kelly Hoppen and Jenny Campbell. Those investors built businesses in different sectors and did not found Crafter's Companion.
