Liquid Snake leads FOXHOUND during the Shadow Moses incident in the original Metal Gear Solid.
Liquid is Solid Snake’s genetically engineered twin brother and the central antagonist of the 1998 game. He commands the renegade FOXHOUND unit that seizes the nuclear weapons disposal facility on Shadow Moses Island.
His stated goal is to obtain Metal Gear REX and force the United States to hand over the remains of Big Boss. The game gradually reveals that Liquid and Solid were created through the Les Enfants Terribles project, which used Big Boss’s genes.
Liquid Snake is sometimes confused with Solidus Snake, another clone of Big Boss who becomes the main antagonist of Metal Gear Solid 2. Revolver Ocelot serves Liquid, but does not command FOXHOUND during the incident.
