In the MCU, who plays Aunt May?

Marisa Tomei plays Aunt May in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Her version of May Parker first appears briefly in Captain America: Civil War before becoming a recurring character in the MCU’s Spider-Man films.

Tomei’s portrayal presents May as younger and more active than many earlier screen versions. She is Peter Parker’s aunt and Ben Parker’s widow, but she is also shown as independent, socially engaged, and involved in community work. In Spider-Man: Homecoming, Peter tries to keep his superhero activities secret from her, creating much of the film’s domestic tension.

May eventually discovers Peter’s identity and becomes an important source of moral guidance. In Spider-Man: No Way Home, she works at the F.E.A.S.T. shelter and helps Peter believe that the visiting villains can be cured. Rosemary Harris played May in Sam Raimi’s trilogy, while Sally Field played her in The Amazing Spider-Man films.
