In The Living Daylights, James Bond drives an Audi 200 during the escape from Bratislava.
The Audi appears before Bond switches to the specially equipped Aston Martin used later in the film. The Bratislava sequence shows Bond leaving the concert area and navigating the city while trying to protect the defecting General Koskov.
The Audi 200 was Audi’s large executive model, positioned above the Audi 100. Its understated appearance suits the early part of the sequence, before the chase develops into a more conspicuous pursuit involving the Aston Martin and a cello case.
A frequent mistake is naming the Audi Quattro, because that model was strongly associated with Audi’s performance image in the 1980s. The car identified in the film’s production and vehicle references is the Audi 200.
