In the 2015 James Bond film Spectre, Bond drives an Aston Martin DB10 in Rome before the cemetery chase.
The DB10 was designed specifically for Spectre and was the first Aston Martin created exclusively for a James Bond production. Its smooth, low bodywork was developed by Aston Martin’s design team under Marek Reichman, giving the film a car that looked futuristic without abandoning the marque’s identity.
Only ten DB10s were built for the film. They were not sold as a normal production model, which makes the car different from road-going Aston Martins such as the DB9 or DBS.
The Rome sequence pairs the DB10 with an armed Jaguar C-X75 driven by Mr. Hinx. The chase helped make the one-off Aston Martin one of the most recognizable Bond cars of the 21st century.
