In the first Assassin's Creed game, what is Altaïr's full name?
Answer
Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad
Answer
Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad
In the first Assassin's Creed game, Altaïr's full name is Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad.
Altaïr is the central playable character in the original 2007 game. His name is presented in Arabic as Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad, with “Ibn-La'Ahad” commonly translated as “son of no one.” The character is voiced by Philip Shahbaz in the first game.
The story follows Altaïr during the Third Crusade, primarily in cities including Jerusalem, Acre, and Damascus. He begins as a highly ranked Assassin whose actions cause him to lose status, forcing him to rebuild his reputation through missions assigned by Al Mualim.
Altaïr is sometimes confused with Ezio Auditore, the later protagonist of Assassin's Creed II, Brotherhood, and Revelations. Altaïr also appears in later series lore, including Assassin's Creed: Revelations, but the 2007 game introduced him to players.
