In the British TV show Dragons' Den, which investor replaced James Caan in 2011?

The story behind the answer

Hilary Devey replaced James Caan as an investor on the British TV show Dragons' Den in 2011.

Devey joined the panel for the ninth series, taking the place of Caan after his departure. She was already a prominent businesswoman through Pall-Ex, the palletised freight network she founded and developed in the United Kingdom.

Her time in the Den gave the programme another investor with expertise in logistics, transport and business expansion. She left the regular panel after the tenth series, after which other Dragons took part in subsequent line-ups.

The timeline is sometimes confused because Dragons' Den frequently changes its panel. Caan was an earlier Dragon, while Devey's arrival belongs specifically to the 2011 series.
