In the British TV show Dragon's Den, which former Dragon founded Yo! Sushi?

The story behind the answer

Simon Woodroffe, a former Dragon on the British TV show Dragon's Den, founded Yo! Sushi.

Woodroffe launched Yo! Sushi in London in 1997, introducing a conveyor-belt dining concept inspired by Japanese restaurant service. Customers could select dishes as they passed them, giving the restaurant a distinctive visual identity and a quicker, more informal style of eating.

He joined the original Dragon's Den investment panel when the British version began. His entrepreneurial background was strongly connected with hospitality and customer experience, so his expertise complemented Dragons with backgrounds in retail, leisure and manufacturing.

Yo! Sushi and Dragon's Den are separate parts of Woodroffe’s career. He later moved on from the panel, while continuing to be associated with entrepreneurship and business innovation through other ventures and public speaking.
