In the British TV series Dragons' Den, Kelly Hoppen joined the panel in 2013 after building a career in interior design.
Kelly Hoppen is a British designer known for a minimalist style often described through neutral colours, clean lines and an East-meets-West influence. Before joining Dragons' Den, she had established a long career designing residential and commercial interiors, along with furniture and other lifestyle products.
Hoppen became one of the programme's investors in the eleventh series, which aired in 2013. Her expertise gave the panel a Dragon with a strong background in design, branding and premium consumer products. She remained on the show for several series before departing in 2015.
She is sometimes confused with Sara Davies, another female Dragon whose career was built around a successful consumer-products company. Davies joined the panel later, in 2019. Hoppen's Dragons' Den role was a television investment position, separate from her design work and her business interests outside the programme.
