Peter Jones has been a dragon on the British Dragon's Den since its first series.
Jones is a British entrepreneur and businessman whose interests have included technology, telecommunications, property and retail. He joined the original panel when the BBC adaptation began and became one of the programme's most recognisable investors.
His continued presence distinguishes him from many other dragons, whose appearances have been limited to particular series or periods. Other prominent investors have included Deborah Meaden, Theo Paphitis, Duncan Bannatyne, Touker Suleyman and Sara Davies, but they did not all join at the same time.
Jones is also known for appearing on the United States programme American Inventor and for involvement in the Peter Jones Foundation, which supports young entrepreneurs. In Dragon's Den, his questions commonly focus on valuation, margins, sales and how a company could scale.
