Peter Jones has appeared continuously on the Dragon's Den panel since the programme began in 2005.
Jones was one of the original investors when the BBC launched the British version of the format. He remained a regular Dragon through later panel changes, including the departures of Duncan Bannatyne, Theo Paphitis and Richard Farleigh.
His business interests have included telecommunications, technology, media and retail. Jones is also known for founding Phones International Group and for involvement with the Peter Jones Foundation.
A common mix-up is assuming that every original Dragon stayed throughout the series. Jones is the long-running constant most closely associated with the main panel, while other early investors left and were replaced over time.
