In the British television series Dragon's Den, which Dragon founded the Bannatyne Group?

Duncan Bannatyne founded the Bannatyne Group, a British health-club, spa and hotel business.

Bannatyne built his business career from ventures that included ice-cream sales, nursing homes and leisure operations. The Bannatyne Group became especially associated with health clubs and spas across the United Kingdom.

He was one of the original Dragons when the British programme began in 2005. His direct, often blunt style made him a prominent early member of the panel, and he remained with the programme until 2014.

The Bannatyne Group should not be confused with a company Bannatyne backed during a television pitch. It is the business he established and for which he became widely known. He is also a published author and philanthropist, but those activities are separate from the group itself.
