Kelly Hoppen joined the panel of the British television programme Dragon's Den in series 11.
Hoppen is a British interior designer and entrepreneur. Her professional reputation was built through interior design, branding and commercial ventures, giving her a perspective different from Dragons whose main backgrounds were retail, technology or leisure.
Her appointment was part of the continuing evolution of the panel. Dragon's Den regularly changes its investors, so a series number is useful for distinguishing later arrivals from the original cast and from other well-known women who appeared in subsequent years.
Kelly Hoppen should not be confused with Sara Davies, who joined much later, or Deborah Meaden, who entered in series 3. Those investors all became associated with the programme, but their panel debuts occurred in different series.
