Kelly Hoppen joined the regular Dragons' Den panel in 2013 and was known for founding her own interior-design business.
Hoppen is a British interior designer whose work is associated with a distinctive style combining neutral colours, clean lines and luxurious materials. She built the Kelly Hoppen Interiors brand and became a prominent design personality before appearing on television as an investor.
Her Dragons’ Den tenure was relatively short compared with some of the programme’s longest-serving Dragons. She appeared alongside investors including Peter Jones, Deborah Meaden, Duncan Bannatyne and Piers Linney during the early 2010s.
Hoppen is sometimes mixed up with later female Dragons such as Sara Davies or Jenny Campbell. Those investors joined in later years and had different business backgrounds. Hoppen’s identifying distinction is her established career in interior design and her 2013 arrival on the panel.
