Tej Lalvani is chief executive of the health-products company Vitabiotics.
Vitabiotics develops and markets vitamins, minerals and other nutritional products. Lalvani became the company’s chief executive and represents the second generation of the business founded by his father, Kartar Lalvani.
He joined Dragons' Den in 2017. His corporate experience and knowledge of consumer health products gave the panel a Dragon whose business background differed from the technology, property, retail and marketing specialists who have also appeared on the show.
Vitabiotics is a company, not a product name. Its brands include well-known nutritional ranges, but the question refers to the parent business and to Lalvani’s executive role. He left the regular Dragons' Den panel after the seventeenth series, although Vitabiotics remained his principal business association.
