The BBC series Dragons' Den originally aired on BBC Two.
The programme premiered in 2005 as part of BBC Two's factual and entertainment schedule. Its format places entrepreneurs before a panel of wealthy investors, who decide whether to offer money for an ownership stake in each business.
Dragons' Den later became prominent enough to move to BBC One, expanding its audience while retaining the same central pitch-room structure. This channel history is sometimes confused with the programme's international adaptations, many of which aired on entirely different networks.
BBC Two is the channel associated with the show's original British launch, not the channel that later carried its largest mainstream audience.
