Tom Pellereau invented the Stylfile nail-care products featured in the BBC programme Dragons' Den.
Pellereau is a British inventor and entrepreneur who developed a curved nail file designed to follow the shape of a fingernail. He presented the product on Dragons' Den and secured investment from Lord Alan Sugar, who was a guest investor for that pitch rather than one of the programme's usual dragons.
The Stylfile story is notable because it connects product design with manufacturing and retail distribution. Pellereau's invention was not simply a new brand name for an ordinary file; its curved form was intended to make filing easier and more effective around the nail.
Viewers sometimes confuse Pellereau with other product inventors from the programme, particularly Rob Law of Trunki and Shaun Pulfrey of Tangle Teezer. Those entrepreneurs created different products and different Dragons' Den stories.
