In the 2018 game 'Marvel's Spider-Man', who voices Peter Parker?

In the 2018 game Marvel’s Spider-Man, Yuri Lowenthal voices Peter Parker.

Lowenthal performs both Peter’s civilian dialogue and Spider-Man’s superhero voice in Insomniac Games’ PlayStation adventure. He also supplied the character’s motion-capture performance, helping give this version of Peter a distinct physical presence as well as a recognizable voice.

The game presents Peter as a 23-year-old science researcher who has already been Spider-Man for eight years. Lowenthal intentionally keeps Peter and Spider-Man related rather than making them sound like entirely different people: Peter is generally gentler, while Spider-Man is more confident and quick with jokes.

A common mix-up is Josh Keaton, who voiced Peter in several earlier animated projects, including The Spectacular Spider-Man. Lowenthal reprised Insomniac’s version in Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales (2020) and Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 (2023).
