In the 2002 James Bond film Die Another Day, which Aston Martin model is hidden in an ice palace garage?

In Die Another Day, Bond’s Aston Martin V12 Vanquish is hidden in the ice palace garage.

The vehicle is introduced in Gustav Graves’s Icelandic ice palace, where Bond uses it against Graves and Zao. Its most famous feature is an adaptive camouflage system that can display the surrounding scene, making the car appear nearly invisible from some viewpoints.

The V12 Vanquish was Aston Martin’s flagship grand tourer at the time. It used a twelve-cylinder engine and represented the high-performance image the marque sought to emphasize internationally.

The car is sometimes shortened to “Vanquish” in discussions of the film, but its full model designation is Aston Martin V12 Vanquish. It should not be confused with the later second-generation Vanquish introduced years afterward.
