In the 1995 James Bond film GoldenEye, which Ferrari model does Xenia Onatopp drive?

The story behind the answer

In the 1995 James Bond film GoldenEye, Xenia Onatopp drives a Ferrari F355 GTS.

The red Ferrari appears in the sequence set in Monte Carlo, where Onatopp uses it during her predatory pursuit of Bond. The F355 GTS was the targa-roof version of Ferrari’s mid-engined F355 sports car, introduced during the 1990s.

The car is associated with Xenia rather than James Bond, whose principal official vehicle in GoldenEye is the BMW Z3. Another important vehicle in the film is the BMW 750iL, used during the remote-control parking-garage chase.

A common mix-up is confusing the F355 GTS with the Ferrari F355 Berlinetta. Both share the same basic mechanical family, but the GTS has a removable roof panel. The film helped reinforce Xenia’s glamorous, dangerous image through the contrast between the bright Ferrari and her violent driving.
