In Super Mario Party Jamboree, what 20-player online race mode uses coin-collecting minigames?

The story behind the answer

In Super Mario Party Jamboree, Koopathlon is the 20-player online race mode built around coin-collecting minigames.

Koopathlon places as many as 20 competitors in a race around a board. Instead of moving only through ordinary turns, players earn progress by collecting coins during minigames. The better a player performs, the more effectively they advance through the course, making the mode feel closer to a live endurance race than a traditional four-player Mario Party board.

The mode is part of the online-focused Play Plaza content in Super Mario Party Jamboree, released for Nintendo Switch in 2024. Periodically, players also face Bowser-themed challenges that can send competitors backward, adding disruption to the race.

Bowser Kaboom Squad is the common mix-up: it is an eight-player cooperative mode focused on defeating Impostor Bowser. Rhythm Kitchen and Paratroopa Flight School are separate activities, not the 20-player coin-race mode.
