In "Star Wars: Episode III", who was born first?
Answer
Luke
Answer
Luke
In Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith, Luke Skywalker was born first, followed by his twin sister Leia.
Padmé Amidala gives birth to the twins at the medical facility on Polis Massa after Obi-Wan Kenobi brings her there. The birth scene presents Luke first and Leia second. Padmé names both children before dying shortly afterward, while the surviving Jedi arrange for them to be hidden from Darth Vader and Emperor Palpatine.
The twins were born in 19 BBY, at the end of the Clone Wars and during the transformation of the Galactic Republic into the Galactic Empire. Luke was taken to Tatooine to be raised by Owen and Beru Lars, while Leia was adopted by Senator Bail Organa and Queen Breha of Alderaan.
Viewers sometimes remember Leia as the older twin because she becomes a princess and political leader first in the original-release order of the films. In the story’s chronology, however, Luke is the older sibling by the brief interval shown during the Episode III birth scene.
