In Quentin Tarantino’s The Hateful Eight, which actress plays Daisy Domergue?

Jennifer Jason Leigh plays Daisy Domergue in Quentin Tarantino’s The Hateful Eight.

Daisy is a wanted outlaw captured by bounty hunter John Ruth, played by Kurt Russell. Much of the film takes place at Minnie’s Haberdashery, where a blizzard forces Ruth, Daisy, and several other travelers to shelter together. Suspicion grows as the characters question one another’s identities and motives.

Leigh’s performance earned her an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress. The nomination was one of the film’s three Oscar nominations, alongside cinematography and Ennio Morricone’s original score; Morricone won for the score.

Daisy Domergue is sometimes confused with other characters because the film’s ensemble includes several bounty hunters, lawmen, and concealed identities. Leigh’s role is especially central because John Ruth intends to deliver Daisy alive for a substantial bounty.
