In Pokémon Pokopia, which Pokémon is said to enjoy darkness?

Hoothoot is the Pokémon said to enjoy darkness in Pokémon Pokopia.

Pokopia gives Pokémon individual habitat preferences, so players must create surroundings that suit particular species. The game’s examples include planting grass beneath a tree and placing a punching bag beside a bench to encourage certain Pokémon to appear.

Hoothoot is specifically identified as enjoying darkness. That preference is part of the game’s habitat system, in which environmental design affects which Pokémon move into the restored areas.

This detail is easy to confuse with a Pokémon’s usual type or Pokédex lore. Hoothoot is a Normal- and Flying-type Pokémon in the main series, but Pokopia’s point is not to test battle typing. Instead, it uses behavioral preferences to make habitat construction meaningful.
