In Pokémon Pokopia, Chef Dente is based on which Pokémon?

Chef Dente is based on Greedent in Pokémon Pokopia.

Chef Dente is the special character name used for a Greedent who once belonged to a chef Trainer. The character is one of several unusual Pokémon encountered as Ditto restores habitats and discovers the history of the abandoned world.

Pokopia gives familiar species distinctive roles and identities instead of presenting them only as ordinary wild Pokémon. Other notable characters include Peakychu, a Pikachu who has lost the ability to generate electricity; Smearguru, a talented Smeargle painter; and Mosslax, a Snorlax covered by moss and plants after sleeping for a long time.

Greedent is particularly fitting for a chef-themed character because the species is associated with hoarding and eating berries in the main Pokémon series. Chef Dente is still a Greedent, not a separate species or a new evolution.
