In Pixar's Cars 2, which character is secretly the villain Miles Axlerod?

Miles Axlerod is the secret villain of Pixar's Cars 2.

Axlerod presents himself as a wealthy former oil baron who has become an electric vehicle. He organizes the World Grand Prix and promotes Allinol, a supposedly clean alternative fuel. His public image makes him appear to be an ally of international racing and environmental progress.

The film later reveals that Axlerod is actually behind the plot to discredit Allinol. He uses weapons disguised as camera equipment to make the fuel appear dangerous, hoping to profit from a return to petroleum-based fuel and create global chaos.

The twist is easy to confuse with Professor Zündapp, another major antagonist who carries out technical work for the conspiracy. Finn McMissile and Holley Shiftwell are spies investigating it, while Mater becomes an accidental participant. Axlerod's identity is the key reveal at the end of the film.
