In Namco's Dig Dug, the fire-breathing dragon enemy is called Fygar.
Dig Dug was released in 1982 and places the player underground, where the character Dig Dug tunnels through dirt and defeats enemies by inflating them with an air pump or dropping rocks on them.
The game has two principal enemy types. Pookas are round, goggle-wearing creatures, while Fygars resemble dragons and can breathe fire horizontally. That fire makes Fygar especially dangerous when the player is digging directly across from it.
Enemy names are often mixed up because both creatures appear in the same tunnel networks and can be defeated with the same inflation mechanic. Dig Dug was designed by Masahisa Ishida and released by Namco during the peak of the early-1980s arcade boom.
