In "Modern Family", who is Claire's husband?

In Modern Family, Claire’s husband is Phil Dunphy. Phil is played by Ty Burrell and is the energetic, affectionate, frequently overconfident father at the center of the Dunphy household.

Claire and Phil are married throughout the series and have three children: Haley, Alex, and Luke. Claire is the organized, practical daughter of Jay Pritchett, while Phil sees himself as a “cool dad” and works as a real-estate agent. Their contrasting personalities drive many of the show’s family comedies.

A common mix-up is confusing Phil with Jay, who is Claire’s father, or with Mitchell, who is Claire’s brother. Phil is also Gloria’s son-in-law because Gloria marries Claire’s father, Jay. The family relationships are deliberately interconnected, forming one of the sitcom’s three central households.
