Free Agent Frenzy is a live offseason event built to make free agency feel more urgent and competitive. All 32 teams participate in the same compressed period, and the user advances through it hour by hour while deciding when to pursue available players.
The event is designed around the opening rush of real NFL free agency, when teams compete quickly for valuable talent. Player information, including ratings, statistics, and Persona DNA, is available on the event screen to help guide decisions.
The 12-hour figure describes the in-game event window, not the length of the real NFL free-agency period. Madden NFL 27 also adds a separate signing opportunity for undrafted rookies after the draft.
