In Jurassic World, what is the name of the park’s operations manager?

Claire Dearing is the park’s operations manager in Jurassic World.

Played by Bryce Dallas Howard, Claire begins the 2015 film as a highly organized executive responsible for running Jurassic World on Isla Nublar. She is focused on attendance figures, visitor satisfaction, and corporate operations when the genetically engineered Indominus rex escapes.

Claire’s role changes as the crisis develops. She helps coordinate the evacuation, searches for her nephews Zach and Gray, and eventually works with Owen Grady to defend the park. The later films show her becoming an activist for dinosaur rights and a more experienced field leader.

Claire is distinct from Dr. Ellie Sattler, the paleobotanist from the original film, and Dr. Sarah Harding, a character from The Lost World: Jurassic Park.
