In the 1993 film Jurassic Park, the lawyer sent to inspect the park for investors is Donald Gennaro.
Gennaro works for the investors financing John Hammond’s dinosaur park. Hammond brings paleontologist Alan Grant, paleobotanist Ellie Sattler, and mathematician Ian Malcolm to provide expert opinions before the park opens to the public.
The character is often remembered for fleeing the Tyrannosaurus rex attack and hiding in a bathroom, a scene that became one of the film’s most recognizable moments. Gennaro is played by Martin Ferrero.
Gennaro is sometimes confused with other corporate figures in the franchise. Peter Ludlow is Hammond’s nephew and the executive overseeing InGen in The Lost World: Jurassic Park, while Lewis Dodgson is associated with BioSyn and appears prominently in Jurassic World Dominion. Robert Muldoon, by contrast, is Jurassic Park’s game warden.
