In Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous, the teenage camper who organizes the group is Darius Bowman.
Darius is a dinosaur enthusiast who wins a place at the experimental Camp Cretaceous on Isla Nublar. When the events of Jurassic World cause the camp to become isolated, he takes a leading role in helping the other campers survive and find a way off the island.
The animated series premiered on Netflix in 2020 and is set alongside the events of the 2015 film. Its main group includes Darius, Brooklynn, Kenji, Yaz, Sammy, and Ben. Each camper brings a different personality and set of skills to the survival story.
Darius is sometimes confused with Kenji or Brooklynn because all three are prominent members of the group. His defining role is the dinosaur expert and de facto organizer who helps guide the campers through the crisis.
