In Jurassic Park, what is the name of the park’s game warden?

The story behind the answer

In Jurassic Park, the park’s game warden is Robert Muldoon.

Muldoon is responsible for animal security at John Hammond’s dinosaur attraction on Isla Nublar. Bob Peck plays him in the 1993 film, where the character is presented as an experienced professional who understands that the animals are dangerous despite the park’s controlled environment. He is especially concerned about the velociraptors and repeatedly warns that their intelligence makes them difficult to contain.

Muldoon’s best-known line concerns the raptors: “Clever girl.” He says it shortly before a raptor ambushes him in the maintenance shed. The phrase has become one of the film’s most quoted moments. Muldoon is sometimes confused with Arnold, the park’s chief engineer, or with Nedry, the computer programmer who sabotages the security systems. Unlike those characters, Muldoon’s main responsibility is animal management and visitor safety, not park computing or corporate finance.
