Answer
M4 Sherman
In Fury, Don “Wardaddy” Collier commands an M4 Sherman tank.
David Ayer’s 2014 film follows a U.S. Army tank crew during the final months of the European campaign in 1945. The crew’s vehicle is an M4 Sherman named Fury, and the story focuses on its combat missions, the strain of prolonged fighting, and the relationship between experienced soldiers and a new replacement gunner.
The Sherman was the principal American medium tank of the Second World War. It was produced in large numbers and used by several Allied armies. The film also features a German Tiger I tank, which is a separate vehicle and one of the most memorable opponents in the story.
The movie used a real Tiger I, making the tank scenes especially notable. That surviving Tiger was Tiger 131, displayed at The Tank Museum in Bovington, England.
