In Dragon's Den, which female dragon joined the panel in 2019?

The story behind the answer

Sara Davies joined the Dragon's Den panel in 2019.

Davies is an entrepreneur from County Durham who founded Crafter's Companion while she was a student at York University. The company began after she developed a tool that helped crafters make envelopes more easily, and it grew into an international craft-supplies business.

She became a dragon in 2019, succeeding investors whose appearances had ended and joining a panel that included established figures such as Peter Jones, Deborah Meaden and Touker Suleyman. Her own experience in product development, manufacturing and direct-to-consumer sales shaped the perspective she brought to pitches.

Sara Davies is sometimes confused with Kelly Hoppen or Jenny Campbell because all three were prominent female investors associated with the programme. Their appointments happened in different periods: Hoppen joined in 2013, Campbell in 2017 and Davies in 2019. Davies's Crafter's Companion background also made her especially associated with creative and craft-related businesses.
