In Dragon's Den, which entrepreneur pitched the foldable children's suitcase Trunki?

The story behind the answer

Rob Law pitched the foldable children's suitcase Trunki on Dragon's Den.

Law is a British product designer and entrepreneur who created Trunki, a ride-on suitcase designed for children. Its shape allows a child to sit on and pull the case, giving the product a distinctive identity in the crowded travel-goods market.

The pitch is remembered because the Dragons questioned the product's design, manufacture and commercial prospects. Although the television negotiation did not produce the investment outcome many viewers expected, Trunki went on to become a successful retail product and an internationally recognised British design.

Trunki is sometimes confused with other Dragon's Den products because the programme has featured many household and travel inventions. It should also not be confused with a conventional wheeled suitcase: the ride-on feature and child-focused design are central to the product. Rob Law's role was as creator and entrepreneur, not as one of the show's investor Dragons.
