The talking smart pistol found in Vista del Rey in Cyberpunk 2077 is called Skippy.
V discovers Skippy during the side job “ machine gun,” where the weapon is lying near a dead body in an alley. Skippy is unusual because its artificial intelligence speaks to V and comments on the player’s choices.
The pistol offers two targeting modes: Puppy-Loving Pacifist and Stone-Cold Killer. After V has used it for a period of time, Skippy changes its behavior and reveals more about its preferences and programming.
Skippy is often confused with Lizzie, a distinctive tech pistol, or with iconic weapons such as Doom Doom and La Chingona Dorada. Those weapons have unique histories, but they do not provide Skippy’s talking, AI-driven personality.
