In Cyberpunk 2077, the side job in which V searches for missing Delamain taxis is “Epistrophy.”
The job begins after V contacts Delamain about a fleet problem. Several autonomous taxis have separated from the main network and behave as though they have developed distinct personalities or independent goals.
V tracks the vehicles across Night City, with separate objectives in areas such as Northside, Coastview, Rancho Coronado, and the Badlands. Each encounter has its own tone, ranging from comic dialogue to more serious reflections on artificial intelligence.
“Epistrophy” is sometimes confused with “Don’t Lose Your Mind,” the later Delamain quest dealing with the company’s future. “Epistrophy” is the search-and-recovery job; the other mission concerns a major decision at headquarters.
