In Cyberpunk 2077, the Arasaka security officer who duels V during the parade mission is Oda.
Oda is a highly skilled Arasaka operative and a former colleague of Goro Takemura. He is assigned to protect Hanako Arasaka during the Japantown parade, one of the most visually distinctive story sequences in Night City.
V can confront Oda as part of the mission “Play It Safe.” The encounter can lead to combat, but the story also allows players to spare him after defeating him, depending on their choices.
Oda is often mixed up with Takemura because both are linked to Arasaka and Hanako. Takemura is V’s ally and investigator, while Oda is the armored security specialist guarding the parade route.
